Police appeal to locate teen missing from Granville

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.

Jamie Karkoe, aged 16, was last seen about 5.00pm on Sunday 21 May 2023 at Blaxcell Street, Granville.

When he failed to return home or make contact with family members, officers from Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is considered out of character.

Jamie is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 174cm tall, of medium build, with short brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts.

Jamie is known to frequent the Blacktown and Seven Hills areas.

Anyone who may have seen Jamie or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact Granville police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
