Police Appeal To Locate Teen Missing From Parramatta 16 March

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl from Sydney's north west.

Shakira Brown-Cottier, aged 15, was last seen at Parramatta Railway Station, about 6.20pm on Saturday (14 March 2026).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for Shakira's welfare due to her age.

Shakira is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 175cm tall, medium build, brown eyes and short black curly hair.

She was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit, black shoes and carrying a beige/cream backpack.

Shakira is known to frequent Parramatta, Wollongong, St Marys, Werrington, Ballambi, Albion Park, and Penrith areas.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Cumberland Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
