Police Appeal To Locate Teen Missing From Bankstown 21 June

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's south west.

Lugine Abusubaih, aged 16, was last seen at a shopping centre in Bankstown, about 4pm on Thursday 18 June 2026.

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified on Friday 19 June 2026 and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Lugine's welfare.

She is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern in appearance, about 170cm tall and of a thin build.

Lugine was last seen wearing black pants, tight black top, black glasses and a beige hijab.

She is known to frequent the Bankstown, Chester Hill and Cabramatta areas.

Anyone with information on Lugine's whereabouts is urged to contact Bankstown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
