Police Appeal To Locate Teen Missing From Mascot

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's south.

Sophia Wheeler, aged 13, was last seen in Mascot, about 8pm yesterday (Sunday 22 February 2026).

When she was unable to located or contacted officers attached to South Sydney Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for her welfare due to her age.

Sophia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 165cm tall, medium build with long dark coloured hair.

She was last seen wearing a light coloured mid drift top, denim skirt, high heel shoes and carrying a black bag.

Sophia is known to frequent the Mascot and surrounding areas.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Narellan Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 000 333.
