Police appeal to locate teenage girl missing from Auburn

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's west

Hadiseh Jafari - aged 16 - was last seen at a home on Stanhope Street, Auburn about 5am today (Monday 3 January 2022).

When Hadiseh failed to return or contact family members, officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command were notified, and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Hadiseh's welfare due to her age, and her disappearance being out of character.

Hadiseh is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 160cm – 165cm tall, of thin build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

She is believed to be wearing a black or brown coloured Hijab.

Anyone who sees Hadiseh or has information about her whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
