Police appeal to locate teenage girl missing from Blue Mountains 15 October

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the Blue Mountains.

Charli Blandin de Chalain, aged 16, was last seen outside Springwood Railway Station on Macquarie Road, Springwood, about 4pm yesterday (Friday 14 October 2022).

When she did not return home and could not be contacted, officers attached to Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold concerns for Charli's welfare due to her age and as her disappearance is out of character.

Charli is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm to 170cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants and a black hooded jumper.

Charli is known to frequent the Blaxland area.

Anyone who may have seen Charli, or may know of her whereabouts, is urged to contact Blue Mountains police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
