Police appeal to locate teenager missing from Croydon

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a teenager missing from Sydney's inner west.

Paul O'Connell (also known as 'Paolo'), aged 16, was last seen leaving his home on Holborow Street, Croydon Park, to catch a bus to his school about 7.30am today (Tuesday 1 February 2022).

When Paul failed to attend school and could not be located, officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were notified this afternoon and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family hold concerns for Paul's welfare.

Paul is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of slim build, with a fair complexion, fair-coloured hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a white button-up shirt with short sleeves, navy-coloured pants, a navy and silver-coloured tie, black school shoes and a navy backpack.

Paul may be around the Malabar area and anyone who sites Paul or has information about his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
