Police appeal to locate two males following pursuit in Unanderra

Police are searching for two males following a pursuit in the Illawarra region this morning, NSW Police say.

Just before 10.45am today, police were patrolling on the Princes Highway, Unanderra, when they attempted to stop a silver Nissan Pulsar.

The vehicle with two occupants failed the stop at the intersection of West Dapto Road, and a pursuit was initiated.

The pursuit travelled through Farmborough Heights at speeds of up to 100km/h, before the Nissan was found unoccupied a short time later on Farmborough Road.

A search of the surrounding area was conducted with assistance from the Dog Unit, PolAir and officers from Lake Illawarra Local Area Command; however, no one was located.

Police would like to speak to two males, not further described, who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

Anyone with information is urged to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
