Police appeal to locate two teenage girls missing from Sydney

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two teenage girls missing from Sydney.

Shaylee Compton, aged 13, and Marielle Banea-Taboada, aged 14, were last seen at a home in Sans Souci, about 3.30pm yesterday (Monday 7 November 2022).

When they failed to return home, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate them.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare due to their young age.

Shaylee is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, medium build, and has long blonde hair. She was wearing a black singlet, grey 'Nike' pants, white 'Converse' shoes, and carrying a black backpack.

Marielle is described as being of Asian appearance, about 170cm tall, slim build, with tanned skin and short brown hair. She was wearing a black hoodie, black shorts, red/white 'Nike' shoes, and carrying a black backpack.

They are believed to frequent the Hurstville and Wolli Creek areas.
