Police appeal to locate wanted man - South

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man wanted on an arrest warrant in Sydney's south-west.

Lynmin Waharai, aged 39, is wanted by virtue of an outstanding warrant in relation to assault and intimidation offences.

Officers attached to North West Metropolitan Region have been conducting inquiries into his whereabouts; however, he has not been located.

Lynmin is described as Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, 185cm tall, solid build and black hair. On his neck is a tribal tattoo.

He has been known to frequent the Whalan, Mt Druitt and Wollongong areas.

Lynmin maybe travelling on the rail network.

Anyone who sights Lynmin, or who has information about his whereabouts, is urged not to approach him, but to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
