Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a woman missing from the Mid North Coast.
Mary Whitehead, known as Betty, aged 84, was last seen at Tompkins Avenue, Woolgoolga, at 11.30am this morning (Sunday 31 August 2025).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District were notified and commenced inquiries.
Concerns are held for Betty's welfare as she lives with dementia.
Betty is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of slim build, with a fair complexion, and white hair.
She was last seen wearing light blue jeans and black shoes. The colour of her shirt is unknown.
Betty is known to frequent the local Woolgoolga sporting fields.
