Police appeal to locate woman missing from Alexandria

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the Alexandria area.

Maria Desilva, aged 66, was last seen on Bourke Road, Alexandria, about 4.10pm today (Thursday 3 February 2022).

She was reported missing to officers from South Sydney Police Area Command who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare as she lives with dementia.

Maria is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, of thin build, with short brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a beige coat, lime green shirt, blue pants and light pink shoes.
