Police appeal to locate woman missing from Albury

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Albury.

Sasha Newman, aged 22, was last seen leaving a home on Rivergum Drive, Albury, about 12.45am today (Wednesday 10 August 2022).

When family were unable locate her, she was reported missing to police, and officers from Murray River Police District commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Sasha's welfare.

Sasha is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm to 170cm tall, of medium build, with long reddish/brown hair, hazel eyes and has a septum piercing. She also has a tattoo of a dog on her chest, ghost tattoos on her arm and a tattoo on her ankle.

She is believed to be travelling in a silver 2012 Hyundai Elantra with NSW registration CEV30X.

Sasha is known to frequent the Albury/Wodonga and Lavington areas.
