Police appeal to locate woman missing from Leeton

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Leeton.

Sherne Peachey, aged 51, was last seen in the Leeton area and heard from on the afternoon of Friday 9 December 2022.

When she could not be located, at 4pm yesterday (10 December 2022), officers attached to the Murrumbidgee Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare.

Sherne is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm to 165cm tall with thin build, long brown hair and brown eyes.

She is known to frequent the Leeton, Griffith, Wagga Wagga and Hunter Valley areas.
