Police appeal to locate woman missing from Sydney's south west 9 January

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney's south west.

Talaya Newton, aged 25, was last seen at an address on Omnibus Road, Kingsgrove, about 10.30am on Monday 2 January 2023.

Unable to be located since, officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare.

Talaya is described as having an olive complexion, about 175cm tall with a slim build, has a scar on her left forearm, a medusa tattoo on her left shoulder and a large snake tattoo covering her right thigh.

She is know to frequent the Redfern, Blacktown and Wollongong areas.
