Police appeal to locate woman missing from Bass Hill

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Bass Hill.

Dianne Burnes, aged 70, was last seen leaving her home on Wynyard Avenue about 9.30am yesterday (Friday 28 August 2020).

Dianne told her family she was going shopping before attending a doctor's appointment on Hector Street at Bass Hill.

Her family contacted police when she failed to return home and could not be contacted.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command are conducting inquiries, and appealing for public assistance, in an attempt to locate her.

Following inquiries, police determined Dianne didn't attend her appointment.

Dianne is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 168cm tall, with long blonde hair tied up in a ponytail.

She was last seen wearing a jumper and maroon-coloured jeans.

Anyone who sees Dianne, or believes they know her whereabouts, it urged to contact police.
