Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Mijo Gorscak.
The 87-year-old was last seen at Sunshine Hospital about 2.30pm.
Mijo is 160cm tall, thin build with white short hair and was last seen wearing black pants a shirt and a grey jacket.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his age.
Police have released an image of Mijo in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
Anyone with information about Mijo is urged to contact Avondale Heights Police Station on 9337 6777.
