Police appeals for help to locate teenager Alec King

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing teenager Alec King.

The 14-year-old was last seen at Mernda Railway Station on Tuesday 3 September.

Police and family have concerns for Alec's welfare due to the length of time he has been missing.

Alec is described as 160cm tall, with a slim build, short dark hair, brown eyes and has a silver sleeper earring in his left ear.

He was last seen wearing his school uniform including a zip up black and fluoro yellow jacket, and black tracksuit pants with a green and white logo.

Alec was riding a black scooter with camouflage handlebars and gold wheels, and was carrying a black backpack.

He is known to frequent the Mernda, Plenty Valley and Epping areas, including Epping Plaza, Mill Park Westfield, Mernda Skate Park and Mernda Railway Station.

Investigators have released a photo of Alec in the hope someone may recognise him and be able to provide information on his whereabouts.
