Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a ute in Bentleigh last night.
It is understood the vehicle collided with the pedestrian on Tucker Road just after 9pm on 4 July.
Sadly, the yet-to-be-formally identified pedestrian died at the scene.
It is believed the ute came to a stop shortly later on Huntington Road.
Police are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have been deployed to the scene and will interview the driver.
