Mildura Highway Patrol officers are investigating a fatal collision in Mildura this evening.
Emergency services were called to reports pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Fifteenth Street and San Mateo Avenue about 7.50pm.
The pedestrian, who is yet to be formally identified, was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, a 75-year-old Mildura man, stopped at the scene and was taken to hospital for observation.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
