Police are responding to fatal crash at Darlington

A man has died after crashing his bike at Darlington last month.

About 6.40am on Wednesday 22 March, police and emergency services were called to Flagstaff Road near Hyland Avenue after reports that a 57-year-old Aberfoyle Park man had crashed while riding his bicycle.

There were no other vehicles involved.

The man was rushed to the Flinders Medical Centre in a critical condition.

Sadly he passed away as a result of his injuries today (Tuesday 4 April).

His death is the 41st life lost on South Australian roads this year, compared to 19 at this time last year.
