Emergency services are currently at the scene of a fatal crash at Rye.
It is believed a vehicle was travelling along Browns Road about 4.30pm when the driver lost control and collided with a tree.
The male driver and sole occupant, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
