Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash, Bridgeman Downs

One man has died and another received serious injuries as a result of a traffic crash at Bridgeman Downs this morning, 27 February.

Emergency services were called to Bridgeman Road at 1.26am in relation to reports that a white Kia Cerato sedan had collided with a power pole.

The driver, a 28-year-old Bellmere man, was declared deceased at the scene.

The 26-year-old male passenger was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.

Anyone with dashcam footage or who may have seen the Kia around the time of the crash is urged to come forward.
