A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state's west.
Shortly before 12.15pm today (Wednesday 10 September 2026), emergency services were called to Horsington Drive, Broken Hill, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Barrier Police District attended and located a vehicle had crashed into a tree.
The driver – a man believed to be aged in his 20s – died at the scene. He is yet to be formerly identified.
A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced.
Police will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
