Police are responding to fatal crash, Bundaberg

A 21-year-old man has died following a fatal traffic crash in Kepnock this afternoon, October 12.

Initial investigations indicate around 4.30pm, a car and a motorbike collided along Kepnock Road near Edgar Street.

The rider, a 21-year-old Bargara man, sustained critical injuries and was transported to hospital where he died a short time later.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 43-year-old Kepnock man, was not physically injured and is assisting police.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV from the area around the time of the incident to come forward.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
