Police are responding to fatal crash, Marlborough

A man has died following a two vehicle crash 20 kilometres north of Marlborough, in the Livingstone Shire, this morning (June 21).

Early information indicates a truck travelling northbound on the Bruce Highway and a dual cab utility travelling south have collided on the Church Hill Creek Bridge at approximately 4.30am.

The male driver of the truck suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.

The occupants of the other vehicle, a 24-year-old man and 39-year-old woman, were transported to Rockhampton Base Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
