Police are responding to fatal crash - Mid North Coast 30 November

A man has died following a crash on the state's Mid North Coast yesterday.

About 2.10pm (Monday 29 November 2021), emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway at Urunga, following reports a man had been hit by a truck.

The man – believed to be aged in his 30's – died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.

The driver of the truck – a 65-year-old man – was taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus for mandatory testing.

A crime scene was established, and an investigation launched into the circumstances surrounding the incident by officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Police District.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
