Police are responding to fatal crash - Mid North Coast

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash at Jerseyville, on the state's Mid North Coast.

About 10.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 27 October 2020), emergency services were called to South West Rocks Road after a Suzuki Sierra reportedly crossed to the incorrect side before rolling.

The driver and sole occupant, a 50-year-old man, managed to free himself from the vehicle before being taken to Port Macquarie Hospital where he died a short time later.

Police from Mid North Coast Police District are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
