Police are responding to fatal crash, Milbong

A 24-year-old man from the Ipswich area has died as a result of a single vehicle crash at Milbong yesterday afternoon (November 1).

Initial investigations indicate about 4.30pm, a white Isuzu D-Max was travelling along Ipswich Boonah Road when it left the road and crashed into a tree.

The 24-year-old passenger died at the scene.

A 17-year-old boy, also from the Ipswich area, who was driving the car was flown to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Forensic Crash Unit investigators are now working to determine the circumstances of the crash.
