Police are responding to fatal crash on North South Motorway, South Australia

Police are investigating a fatal crash at Waterloo Corner overnight.

About 11.20pm on Saturday 12 September, police and emergency services were called to the North South Motorway after a pedestrian was struck by a Mitsubishi Pajero and Toyota sedan.

The pedestrian, a 28-year-old woman from Aldgate, sadly died at the scene.

The Motorway was closed for northbound traffic at the Port Wakefield Road exit for several hours while Major Crash Investigators examined the circumstances surrounding the crash. The Motorway has since been reopened.
