Police are responding to fatal crash, Rosewood 22 June

Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash in Rosewood this morning.

Initial information indicates just before 10am a ute and a car were travelling in opposite directions before they collided on Ipswich Rosewood Road.

Emergency crews attempted to revive an 82-year-old Laidley man who was the driver and sole occupant of the ute, however, he passed away at the scene.

The 25-year-old Marburg woman, who was the driver and sole occupant of the car, suffered non-life threatening injuries to her leg.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
