Two people have died following a single-vehicle crash on private property in Sandy Creek yesterday afternoon, 23 February.
Around 1.28pm, a Polaris Ranger utility terrain vehicle (UTV) went over an embankment and hit a tree on a Cedarvale Road property.
The 59-year-old male driver and the 75-year-old male left rear passenger were declared deceased at the scene.
A 33-year-old female right rear passenger was airlifted to Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital with critical injuries.
A 50-year-old female front passenger self-extracted from the vehicle. She was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for treatment.
A dog was also in the vehicle and died as a result of the crash.
The UTV has been towed for mechanical inspection.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are ongoing.
