Police are responding to fatal crash, Toowoomba

Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash in East Toowoomba yesterday.

Initial inquiries indicate shortly after 6pm a four-wheel-drive turned from Logie Street into Hume Street when it was struck by a motorcycle travelling north on Hume Street.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 30-year-old Toowoomba man, was transported to the Toowoomba Hospital. He passed away from his injuries today.

The female driver of the four-wheel-drive was not physically injured in the incident.

Police are appealing for any motorists who might have dashcam of the area around the time of the incident capturing a white/black Yamaha motorcycle to come forward.
