A man has died after a crash on the mid north coast.
About 3.45pm today (Monday 3 November 2025), emergency services responded to reports that a white light tipper truck had crashed into an abandoned house after a collision with an orange Holden Commodore along Wingham Road, Wingham.
The driver of the truck – a 42-year-old man – died prior to the arrival of emergency services.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 40-year-old male provisional driver of the Commodore for minor injuries. He has been taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Manning/Great Lakes Police District have established a crime scene and are awaiting the arrival of specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
Traffic diversions are currently in place and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
