Police are responding to fatal crash, Wishart

Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a motorcyclist died in Wishart last night.

Preliminary investigations indicate shortly before 8pm a motorcycle was travelling along Kessells Road at Nathan and Mount Gravatt-Capalaba Road in Wishart.

As the motorcycle travelled through the intersection of Mount Gravatt-Capalaba Road and Newnham Road intersection with Dawson Road it struck a Mazda SUV.

The rider, a 28-year-old man, died at the scene.

The occupants of the SUV were not physically injured.

Investigations are continuing.
