A man has died following a single vehicle crash in Sydney's west this morning.
About 2am (Wednesday 1 April 2026), emergency services were called to the Hume Highway, Yagoona, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command attended and found that a Honda Civic had collided with median strip before crossing several lanes and crashing into a fence.
The driver was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified; however, he is believed to be a 59-year-old man.
Police have commenced an investigation into the cause of the crash and report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
