Police Are Responding To Serious Crash At Penola 11 April

A man has been injured in a serious crash at Penola overnight.

At about 9pm on Friday 10 April, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of the Riddoch Highway and Riddoch Street following reports of a truck rollover.

The driver, a 28-year-old man from the South East, was trapped inside the cabin for more than an hour before being freed by CFS crews. He was transported to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.

The intersection was closed for several hours while emergency services attended the scene but has since reopened.
