Police are responding to serious crash at Kongorong, South Australia

Police are investigating a serious motorcycle crash at Kongorong in the State's south-east.

Police and emergency services were called to a single motorcycle crash that occurred on an unnamed access road off of Bannisters Road about 5.50pm, Saturday 6 March.

The rider, a 63-year-old local man, sustained serious injuries in the crash and was taken to the Mount Gambier hospital for treatment. His injuries are considered life threatening.

Limestone Coast Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
