Police are responding to serious crash at O'Halloran Hill, South Australia

Police are investigating a serious crash overnight at O'Halloran Hill.

At about 3am, Monday 13 June, patrols and emergency crews were called to Main South Road, after a south bound Toyota sedan crashed into a tree.

The unconscious driver and sole occupant, had to be cut from the vehicle before being stabilised and taken to the Flinders Medical Centre with serious and life threatening injuries.

Diversions were in place for several hours but Main South Road has since reopened to all traffic.

Investigations are continuing and anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
