Police are responding to serious crash at Findon, South Australia

Police are investigating after a single car crashed into a pole at Findon late last night.

About 11.45pm on Tuesday 13 October, police and emergency services were called to Crittenden Road at Findon after reports of a single car crash.

The driver and single occupant, an 85-year-old man from Fulham Gardens was driving a white Holden Commodore when the rear end of the vehicle collided with a stobie pole and he was ejected from the vehicle.

SA Ambulance crews arrived on scene and the man was conveyed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Major Crash Investigators attended the scene to determine the cause of the crash.
