Police are responding to serious crash at Kuraby

A man has received serious injuries as a result of a single vehicle crash, where a car has hit a tree at Kuraby this evening.

Initial investigations indicate, just before 7pm the collision occurred at the intersection of Millers Road and Woodglen Street.

The injured driver, and sole occupant of the car, was subsequently transported from the scene, to the Princess Alexander Hospital for medical treatment.

The roadway at that location is closed for the safety of investigators and drivers are urged to consider alternative routes.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
