Police are responding to serious crash at Middleton, South Australia

Emergency services crews are at the scene of a serious crash after two cars collided at Middleton.

Just after 7.30am on Friday 29 January, police patrols were called to the crash at the intersection of Airport Road and Flagstaff Hill Road.

A total of five people from both cars have been injured, with two people being airlifted to the Flinders Medical Centre with serious injuries, while the remaining three are being transported to the local South Coast Hospital.

Airport Road is closed to all traffic between Flagstaff Hill Road and Petersen Road.
