Officers from Cumberland police Area Command were patrolling Woodville Road about 8.20pm (Thursday 24 December 2020), when they saw a BMW coupe allegedly being driven erratically.
Police directed the driver to stop; however, a pursuit was initiated when the driver allegedly failed to obey a direction.

A 27-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has been taken to Westmead Hospital.
A couple aged in their 70s travelling in the Yaris were also taken to Westmead Hospital to be checked as a precaution.
