Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested four people in relation to a stabbing and assault in Carlton on Saturday 19 November.
The incident in question saw a group of men set upon two male victims in Little Cardigan Lane just before 4am before stabbing a third victim in Argyle Place South.
A 30-year-old Niddrie man sustained three stab wounds to his abdomen and one to his hand during the attack, while another 26-year-old man, was seriously assaulted.
Two men were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Earlier this morning, detectives from Melbourne CIU, Melbourne DRU, and the Gang Crime Squad executed four simultaneous search warrants across St Albans, Brookfield, Fitzroy North, and Altona North.
Three males were arrested as a result and are currently being questioned - a 17-year-old from St Albans, a 21-year-old from Fitzroy North, and a 21-year-old from Altona North.
Police also arrested a 17-year-old from Albion yesterday in relation to this incident. The boy was questioned regarding the Carlton incident, however, has yet to be charged. However, he was charged with aggravated home invasion, following a home invasion in Tarneit around 4am yesterday morning. As a result, he has been remanded to appear before a children's court at a later date.
All parties arrested have known associations to a youth gang.
The investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
