Police arrest four over large disturbance at Kilburn, South Australia

Two men and two women were arrested after a disturbance at Kilburn this morning.

Police will allege that just before 4.30am Wednesday 3 July, police responded to a large disturbance in Goodman Avenue, Kilburn, where two men and two women attended an address and assaulted a woman who lives at the house. A man who came to the assistance of the occupant was also assaulted during the incident.

Police searched a vehicle at the scene belonging to one of the suspects, and located a loaded crossbow and a taser which police will allege were used during the altercation.

The female victim didn't receive any injuries. The male victim was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not life-threatening.

A 37-year-old man from Oaklands Park, a 33-year-old man from Ottoway, a 37-year-old woman from Royal Park and a 35-year-old woman from Blair Athol have all been arrested. They each have been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, one count of possessing a prohibited weapon (crossbow) and one count of possessing a dangerous article (taser).
