Police arrest four teens in stolen vehicle in Werribee

Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested four teenagers in an alleged stolen vehicle in Werribee early this morning.

Geelong Highway Patrol officers first observed the stolen black BMW X5 on Bacchus Marsh Road, Corio where it's alleged it evaded police and was driving on a blown front tyre toward Werribee about 2.30am.

Police monitored the vehicle and deployed stop sticks near Geelong Road and Princes Highway.

The vehicle continued driving a short distance to Wedge Street, Werribee where the four occupants were arrested without incident.

Three boys, aged 13, 14, and 15 and a 13-year-old girl are currently assisting police with their enquiries.

It will be alleged the vehicle was stolen from an address in Aintree last night about 9pm.
