The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested a 32-year-old female following an alleged stabbing in Alice Springs.
Around 11:40am this morning, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received reports a female had been stabbed on Bath Street.
Police arrived at the scene and located a 34-year-old female suffering wounds to her shoulder.
She was treated at the scene and conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It is alleged that the offender and victim are known to each other.
The alleged offender was arrested at the scene and conveyed to Alice Springs Watch House.
A crime scene was declared and processed by the forensics team.
Charges are expected to follow.
