A man has been arrested after a body was found on the Northern Beaches.
About 7:11am today (Monday 15 July 2024), emergency services were called to Ilikai Place, Dee Why, following reports of a body in a carpark.
Officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command attended and found a 40-year-old man deceased.
Police established a crime scene and commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
About 12:30pm a man, believed to be 37-years-old, was arrested at a unit on Ilikai Place, Dee Why.
He has been taken to Manly Police Station and is assisting with inquiries.
