Police arrest man after clan lab and cannabis uncovered in southern suburbs, South Australia

Police have uncovered a clandestine laboratory and a hydroponic cannabis crop at an address at Happy Valley.

Just before 3pm yesterday (Monday 24 August) police attended an address in Seaview Drive and conducted a search.

Investigators located about 40 cannabis plants being grown hydroponically in two sheds and a room inside the house along with a clandestine laboratory. A 54-year-old Happy Valley man was arrested and charged with manufacture a controlled drug and cultivate commercial quantity of cannabis. He was refused bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.

Drug and Organised Crime Task Force officers are currently at the address and processing the scene.
