A man has been arrested following an incident Dandenong this morning (23 August).
It is understood two male victims were located with injuries at a Pickett Street residence about 12.45am.
One victim, who is yet to be formally identified, was treated at the scene by emergency services but was unable to be revived.
The second victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injures.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be established however at this stage the parties involved are believed to be known to each other.
Homicide squad are attending the scene and the investigation remains ongoing.
The third man is currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
